Some things may still work best the old fashioned way, but the lighting system around your office is not one of them. In offices all over the world lights get left on in empty rooms and sap energy in the middle of the afternoon when daylight would do the job just fine. This, of course, translates into lots of wasted energy and unnecessarily high energy bills. Sounds like a business opportunity.
Yep. Intu, a new wireless lighting network, will control all of the lights in your office and dim them according to ambient light or occupancy or schedule. It uses a system of wireless transmitters and sensors that can be placed around the office or attached to inventory and employees. Not only is this excitingly futuristic, but it also promises to save you up to 60% on your energy bills. A good idea that makes good economic sense.
