Hey Goodies,
I'm in Vegas for the CES and--I'm sorry, what's that? Well, yes it might be a thinly veiled excuse for me to be boozing it up and playing poker until the wee hours of the night, but either way I will be catching some of the show ; )
Anyway, the CES is the largest conference in Vegas - although admittedly probably not the most entertaining - My vote goes to the Adult Industry conference that starts the day the CES ends...Coincidence that they overlap? Actually no, it's an interesting story that involves a loose connection to the current president of the CES' win in the supreme court to allow VCRs into peoples homes – which, as it turned out, had everything to do with the sharp rise of availability of porn. I know this is an interesting piece of porn history but also maybe, if you're like me, it might make you a little sad to recall the world pre-pornhub. It's true though, people used to have to actually have VHS tapes of porn hidden around the house for their nosy little sisters to find and watch and then get their older brothers in trouble when their mom came home and found me watching porn… By the way bro, if I never apologized -Sorry about that ; )
Moving on...If anyone has anything they are particularly interested in knowing about from the CES, but do not have the luxury of being in Vegas, please let me know and I will do my best to go check it out and report back.
