Loving Day 2008

  • Posted by: Patrick James

Hello, New York.

What are you doing this Sunday?

That’s right. You’re heading over to Solar 1 at the East River Waterfront to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Loving v. Virginia, the Supreme Court case that definitively legalized interracial relationships in the United States. While you’re there, you’ll be dancing to DJ Spooky, grubbing on free BBQ, sipping on free Asahi, getting ice cream headaches off free Ben & Jerry’s, and possibly winning a great prize from Puma or Zipcar. W00T.

More information can be found here. Did we mention that it’s free?

By the way, last year’s event was off the hook.
