This will really piss I.D. supporters off: new evidence suggests that not only are humans descended from monkeys, but we used to have sex with monkeys. And it wasn't just the weird deviants among our distant ancestors. There was lots of human-on-monkey action going on. Which, while sounding gross, is impressively open-minded of our proto-human ancestors.

And, there is circumstantial evidence that some humans prominently retain many of the genes of the less intelligent creatures from which we came. The 70th most popular name in America is Nevaeh. Has some massive influx of immigrants caused a crazy name like Nevaeh to become so popular, you ask? Nope. It's heaven, spelled backwards.
