Mighty Rams

I spoke with Brian Bordainick, a 23 year old Athletic Director in New Orleans yesterday about his project to rebuild George Washington Carver High School starting with a football field.

What has stuck with me the most after two days is that while the majority of us talk about the rise of civic engagement, this guy is actually doing it.  I’m a little jealous of his passion and dedication.  New Orleans isn’t easy and this guy (as with so many others there) has a clear focus on one thing that can improve the lives of so many.  Kudos Brian and thanks for raising the bar.
