Mister Splashy Pants

  • Posted by: Patrick James

So Greenpeace is having people vote to name rescued humpback whales.

More than 11,000 possible whale names were submitted but we are now down to the last 30 possible whale names…which ones will be given to the wonderful humpback whales currently traveling on the Great Whale Trail?

Some possible names include Amal (which means “hope” in Arabic) and Shanti (which mean “peace” in Hindi).

The top vote getter? Mr. Splashy Pants. No other name stands a chance at this point. Voting ends November 30th. Vote here.

Thanks Theo!

It seems like someone on the name finalists committee must be gunning for Mister Splashy Pants to win. I mean, come on, you can’t only include ONE irono – or not really irono actually just spot-on-nailed-it name out of THIRTY and expect there to be any other outcome…

humphrey and jacques don’t even come close.
