That's right, here in California it's still morning. The week brings some interesting developments to our continuing Choose GOOD saga. You may remember last week's update had us at 36 devoted supporters, with Teach for America capturing six (6) of those all-important contributions. Today:
Number of subscribers: 110
Number we got during the BBQ: 55
Number of people at the BBQ Ben asked to leave after they refused his repeated and strong suggestion to subscribe: 2
Number of days to reach our goal at current pace: 7,798 (only 21 years!)
Leading cause: Millennium Promise (19)
Trailing cause: World Wildlife Fund (2)
notes:
* Despite a continued strong showing, TFA has been bumped out of first by Millennium Promise.
* According to our new stats, we only have to be in business for 21 years to reach of subscriber goal, not 38 like we thought last week.
* Clearly the BBQ was a big success for us; why we haven't had one everyday since is a mystery.
* If you look closely, you can see the progress being tracked on our analog GOOD-o-meter.
