Another week, another plodding step in the Choose GOOD campaign (we mean that in the industrious, deliberate way, not the slow, uninteresting way). Despite the continued wisdom we hear about starting a magazine, not a day goes by without at least a handful of subscribers which - considering we've basically only told our families - is nothing to shake a stick at. For now:

Number of subscribers: 141
Number of subscribers from Utah: 1 (no, seriously)
Number of babies born to GOOD friends and family: 1 (welcome Finn!)
Number of days to reach our goal at current pace: 8,214 (23 years - bit of a slowdown from last week, but we're not sweating it)
Leading cause: Teach for America (23)
Trailing cause: U.S. Fund for UNICEF (4)

Notes:
* Millennium Promise and TFA continue to duke it out for first place, the latter having a slight edge this morning.
* U.S. Fund for UNICEF hasn't yet broken its latecomer stigma, but everyone loves an underdog and we have high hopes for their success.
* The picture is of baby Finn, not the GOOD-o-meter. (Related question: do people prefer the pronunciation GOOD-o-meter or Goo-dometer? Post your answer in the comments.)

More from GOOD: earlier and even earlier
