The Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula is the premier non-governmental provider of food and related items to the needy, hungry and impoverished individuals and families living on the Virginia Peninsula. The food bank distributes donated food to non-profit agencies, such as churches and community organizations.
Since its start in 1987, the food bank has grown to distribute millions of pounds of foods to needy individuals. The success of the food bank has caused it to outgrow the current warehouse.
The community’s generous food donations have created the need for a new warehouse.
In order to fulfill its mission, the food bank needs a new warehouse. A capital campaign has been created to raise funds for the new warehouse, but we need your help!
Please let us know if you have any creative ideas to raise donations for the warehouse!
