NASA's Bold New Mission

NASA's mission is to explore space. Up until a few weeks ago, the end result of exploring space was to "understand and protect our home planet." A lot of NASA's global warming research fell under this part of its mission statement. But, if you recall, the President is really into the whole flying to Mars thing. So much so that NASA can't be bothered with our planet anymore. So, they've removed that part of the statement entirely. If you work at NASA, know this: none of your work can be used to protect our home planet, because there is nothing that it needs protecting from, because it is perfect and awesome!!!
