Náttúra, a new documentary focusing on Iceland's incredible landscape, the energy-hungry aluminum smelting that threatens said landscape, and the efforts to protect it, was released today via iTunes (it's $10). Björk and Sigur Ros are involved (of course), and all proceeds go to the nonprofit Náttúra Campaign. You can watch a short trailer from the film here. Iceland is really incredible to look at, and the movie is a nice reminder that, even though the country's finances have collapsed, it still has other imperiled assets worth saving.
