If you'd like to contribute in some way to stopping climate change, and have a computer, here's a way to do it: join a group of networked computers and let a BBC experiment use your computer's spare processing power to help make calculations about the climate. We have no idea how much it will slow down your computer, and there is a scary legal warning at the bottom of the page. But we all have to make sacrifices, right?
