Scientists from Conservation International and Disney's Animal Kingdom have discovered a thriving hotspot of exotic species tucked into the Himalaya mountain range near Mount Everest. Via freak coincidence, the announcement was made as Disney opened the new Expedition Everest attraction at Walt Disney World Resort. Seriously though, they found some pretty cool animals, including: rodents called pikas that eat their own feces, golden monkeys with blue faces, "Yak Killer" hornets the size of a small pop-up window, and, we swear to god, what appears to be a cartoon mouse.
