India has decided that it will not be making any orders for the $100 laptop, Nicholas Negroponte's machine that was designed to give children in the developing world easy access to computing. And they weren't nice about it either, saying: "we do not think that the idea of Prof Negroponte is mature enough to be taken seriously at this stage and no major country is presently following this." This is also mean to Nigeria, the one country that has placed an order.
