I agree. I like napes. They do bring a smile to my face. In fact, I think I will take one right now.

There some instances when I nap and awake feeling just awful. Irritable. Movements like cold honey. And worst, still tired. But just as often, if not a bit more, naps feel exactly as described in the article.... I think I will continue to take them, because when they're good, they're GOOD.

I couldn't agree more strongly that napping is indeed a huge energy creator which allows us to see issues in a whole new light and bring tremendous energy to what is in front of us. Unfortunately our work culture doesn't allow us to take advantage of this simple truth. Why doesn't someone invent a napping room instead of a starbucks at every street corner and we will have a whole lot of friendlier, energized, attentive people in this world? In addition to napping - breathing deeply, meditating and doing a few stretches (like in yoga) can do wonders for your energy level in the middle of a day. And sometimes doing what makes you happy is the best energizer of them all - so do what you love and laugh a lot more. I have found that the line at starbucks at 4 p.m. is an indication of just how de-motivated and tired people are in their lives - so lets try to shorten that line - shall we?
