Obama’s Biggest Crowd Yet

  • Posted by: Andrew Price
  • on May 19, 2008 at 3:15 pm

Obama supporters flowed into his Portland, Oregon rally yesterday like the multitudinous microbrews of the Pacific Northwest. Sixty-five thousand people made it into the rally and another 15,000 waited outside. The photo from the event (story from New York Daily News here) didn’t make the front page of today’s New York Times (they chose a picture of a Clinton supporter to pair with an article about gender issues and the Democratic primary) but it’s one of the most remarkable images we’ve seen from the campaign. Any guesses about how tomorrow’s Oregon primary will go?
