I am officially going into my 10th week of teaching. I cannot believe it has been this long already. Friday marks the end of our first quarter and I realize I will be going home to Detroit in two months!

I had the pleasure of chaperoning the homecoming dance at my school this weekend. It was great to see the smile on the kids' faces and have them get all dressed up.

More and more I am trying to figure out how I can have the biggest impact here in Baltimore. Already, I am pretty sure teaching is not what I want to do. However, I love working with the students and now must find that middle ground.

I am content. Life is good. But I am not necessarily excited......
