NYC has announced that they'll be creating an Office of Sustainability. Good for them. Bloomberg was one of the U.S. mayors who signed an agreement pledging to meet Kyoto targets in their cities, regardless of the federal government. As the Al Gore presidential run talk loses steam, Bloomberg's is seriously picking up. If we have a new media-created dark horse presidential candidate every month from now until the primaries, we're going to see some interesting names bandied about.
