I was in Tokyo for a couple weeks this last summer, and they have advertising everywhere for 2012. I had so much fun their that I would like to see them get the nod. Chicago would allow me to actually go see the Olympics so I must root for them too.

I really like the Rio one…the rest just looks like I’ve seen them before. about 538 times.

Being a Chicago native, I am just a hint biased! Downtoblue: fear not! If Chicago get’s the bid, they could then revive the torch as only official cities (not bid cities) can include the torch in their logo. We just got a little ahead of ourselves! Vote early and often!

I definitely enjoy Madrid’s logo as well. I think it is one that eight years from now will still be a good decision.

I wish Chicago could have kept their torch logo. It was absolutely elegant with the flame as the Chicago skyline with a cool blue reflection as the torch. Sadly, the IOC would have none of that…

Mmmm…Brazilians are Hot. I don’t care about the logo, but I definitely cast my vote for holding in Rio.

I think that Rio is a beautiful location for the Olympics, however that logo does not capture how alive Rio is. The Heart is very flat and cold to me. Rio is passionate living breathing city and should have an electric logo. South America deserves it’s moment is the Olympic spot light. I think we should skip the United States for a couple rounds and give other countries the time to shine.

boicozine hit the nail on the head. The logo is attractive – I don’t know what it means, but i assume it has significance to someone more familiar with the city. But that type treatment is just painful. WAY too much going on.But can’t we just do them in Vancouver? Can’t go wrong with adorable flash characters
