There is a bill somewhere in the sausage factory of government that would, it seems, ruin the internet by allowing service providers to limit bandwidth when accessing certain sites. For example, say Google didn't have an agreement with Time Warner, but Yahoo! did. Time Warner customers might find it was a lot faster to search via Yahoo! than Google. Why there hasn't been more of an outrage over this even being proposed is an outrage. Read about it here.
