Party: Kiva Is Four Years Old

  • Posted by: Isis Krause
  • on October 26, 2009 at 12:33 pm

kivabday_smGOOD has always been a huge supporter of Kiva; we covered them when they were just getting started. Four years later, Kiva has raised almost $100 million in microloans, landing them in our GOOD 100 issue. Next Tuesday, join GOOD and Hub Bay Area at The David Brower Center to celebrate Kiva’s 4th birthday. Cheers to another four years!

Kiva’s Fourth Birthday Party
Tuesday, November 3
6:30 p.m. to  9:30 p.m.
The David Brower Center
2150 Allston Way
Berkeley, CA

There will be live music performances including Gaucho and Baba Ken and the Afrobeat Connexion. Drinks will flow from Barefoot Winery, SKYY Vodka, and Drake’s Brewing Company, and there will be delicious food courtesy of Slanted Door, Café Gratitude, FeelGOOD Grilled Cheese, and many more.

$20 for a ticket gets you open bar, food, music, changing the world. What could be better? Event details and RSVP here.
