Plan B

Humans, as a species, are remarkably adaptable. We have a tremendous capacity for dealing with the unexpected, which is not surprising given how often we encounter it.

Plan A is overrated. This issue is about the merits, excitement, quirkiness, and danger of pursuits that go in the opposite direction of what is expected. The following pages are filled with instances of people finding advantage in disaster or transforming shortcomings into successes.

Moving on to Plan B does not have to signify failure. Rather, it can be a second chance to make things right. In a world where things so often go wrong, it’s important not to get discouraged, but to always try another way.
