  • Posted by: RudyAdler

Sen. Barack Obama is filing presidential exploratory papers for a historic run at the Presidency. In his video statement, he says he will not make a final decision until February 10th. Obama will be the sixth Democrat to enter the race. joining John Edwards, Joe Biden, Chris Dodd, Tom Vilsak, and Dennis Kucinich. Hillary, Bill Richardson, and (unfortunately) John Kerry are also expected to make announcements soon.

Alas, environmental issues don’t make or break a candidate, but it’s really too bad Barack not only supports liquid coal (a greenhouse gas DISASTER), but also has no environmental position, to speak of.

Given this, and Clinton’s pro-war stance, I’m hoping the Dems can field someone worth voting for.
