Project H

We’d like to tell you a little about Project H Design, a great new website launched by Inhabitat’s Emily Piloton (Full disclosure: Emily is also an occasional GOOD contributor). Project H archives socially-conscious design solutions, hosts competitions to create new designs, and works with communities to help them find designs to help them solve their problems. Right now, they’re doing just that, hosting a fundraiser for Hipporollers, large, roll-able plastic drums that fill with water and are easier to transport than, say, a jug of water on your head. Check out the new project, and if you have some money burning a whole in your pocket, give someone a new Hippo Roller.

For more design solutions, take a look back at our Design issue.
