Project: Photograph Something From a Specialty Food Market

Visit a region-specific food market and purchase an ingredient you don't typically use. Send us a pic of it and enter to win a GOOD T-shirt.

For June's #30DaysofGOOD challenge, we're making all of our meals for the month. Yes, that includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks until July 1. Today's task is to visit a region-specific food market and purchase at least one ingredient that you don't typically use. Snap a picture at the market and tell us what you plan to do with your new ingredient.

the OBJECTIVE

Using the same ingredients over and over again gets old quickly. Specialty food markets are great places to learn about different ingredients and cooking preparation methods. It's time to experiment with new flavors.

the ASSIGNMENT

Hello kimchi omelet, harissa veggie sammie, and Mexican chocolate ice cream. Yep, we want you to try some new things out, and we want to hear about it. Send us a picture of the specialty item you pick up and tell us what you plan to make with your new ingredient.

the REQUIREMENTS

Email your submission to projects[at]goodinc[dot]com as a .jpg image 450 pixels wide and less than 1 MB in size. Submissions will be accepted until Tuesday, June 26.

The winner will receive a GOOD t-shirt.
