Flasher welcomes the Google Van to her town
The Guardian reports that the small British village of Broughton has managed to block Google Street view by creating a human wall. It's not the first time the now recognizable Google vehicle- notable for its roof-top 360 camera- has been intercepted by
residents of a city. Last year the public art project Street With a View
created a fictional street scene on Pittsburgh's north side. A fake parade, marathon and sword fight were all staged. I wonder how long it will take for the ad industry to catch on.
You can see the Pittsburgh street here.
