raining in LA

  • Posted by: Max Schorr
  • on December 16, 2008 at 3:08 am

a wise songwriter named sean once wrote a song about a day when sunny LA was not sunny. well, it rained all day today, and because of the pollution and all the storm water picking it up, the oceans will be nasty tomorrow.  i went up to TreePeople yesterday and Andy Lipkis gave an amazing talk and demonstration about the eco system of this city, and how we need a better plan for capturing rain water. that plan is not realized today, but there is momentum forming, even on this rainy day.
