Reverse Graffiti Meets Advertising

  • Posted by: Andrew Price

We pointed out Alexandre Orion’s incredible reverse graffiti recently. Street Advertising Services is applying those principles to a new kind of guerrilla advertising that’s a little more interesting than your average “street team” stencil and a little nicer for the aesthetic and natural environments.

This is a very interesting idea. I like how it is not environmentally destructive. At the same time, it’s bombarding more people with messages they probably don’t want to see. It’s nice to think of the streets as a place for artists as oppose for advertisers, but I guess this trangression is inevitable.
