Schwarzenegger Declares A Drought

Arnold is declaring a statewide drought in California today and is ordering the state Department of Water Resources to “quickly transfer water to areas with the most severe water shortages.”

Now imagine we allow water resources to drift even more into corporate control. Schwarzenegger declares a drought; Nestlé responds by jacking up the price of water like Exxon in an oil shortage.
