"Science With Coffee" or ("????? ??? ????" in ukrainian) - is project based in Kyiv, Ukraine. The mission of this project can be described as following.
Glocal - think global - act local. This phrase has been used in various contexts, including global warming, town planing, health care and etc. The same goes with education. What can be seen as a cornerstone, that sometimes issue of education is misunderstood. It is not only about "kinderground-school-university". Education - is what we get throughout our life. Link "kinderground-school-university" is just a part of it. "Science With Coffee" - is a kind of glocal.
Nowadays education in Ukraine is based on basis that are need to be changed. This project is not only a gathering of coffee drinkers. Something more lays in it. Students are tired to burn midnight oil on something that they never will even use in their life. Theoretical aproach to education is not giving results. New side of education should be found - practice. That is what "Science With Coffee" is about. It definetly can be defined as important - to give a push, or even change understaning of education.
This "practise" can be foud in our speakers. No borders between speaker and the students - this is what makes "Science With Coffee" different from other projects. Coffee - that is the main factor to make nice atmosphere in order to fully get rid of communication borders and discover the practical aproach to education and science.
