Dreamer and Believer
Due to the economic downturn my employer has cut all employee activity expenses to help save money. We have had to get creative trying to come up with ideas to keep up employee moral. Jeans days are a favorite along with pot lucks. Each different department gets a month to take come up with free fun things for everyone to do. October is my teams month, and October 2ND is my day. Shanny's Day!
What am I going to do! I'm going to blast music in the break room; because who doesn't feel good after hearing a Jack Johnson song, right. I'm making a Beatles trivia game, so that I can introduce imaginepeace.com in a way everyone will actually take time to see it. And I'm going to put up a hug colleague of inspirational pictures on a piece of poster board with a blank place at the bottom for people to right their favorite quotes. Along with all that I'm going to make sure to smile and share fun stories, and make sure everyone gets a compliment on whatever they are rocken that day- a cool shirt, or even just their smile.
My goal is to Shanny'tize three hundred people on my day, put a sparkle of fun into their lives and hopefully just make them feel good.
