A lawsuit claiming Taco Bell's "taco meat filling" is less than 50 percent meat was dropped voluntarily by the claimant today. Taco Bell said it did not pay the woman to drop the suit, and in the months since she formalized the charges the company had maintained that its seasoned beef is 88 percent meat and 12 percent "signature recipe." What does "signature recipe" mean? Click through to see the shocking number of ingredients that go into making Taco Bell's meat and shellfish "signature" (there are 45 in the "steak" alone). Our favorite: Silicon dioxide, a mineral sometimes used to make glass.
