Southpaw-In-Chief

Four out of the last six presidents of the United States have been left-handed, and the next one may be too.

While only 10 to 15 percent of people write their way through life with the “wrong” hand, a disproportionate number of them end up in the Oval Office.

In the past 34 years, these four leaders of the free world have been lefties:

Gerald Ford, 1974—1977

Ronald Reagan, 1981—1989 (though he switched after childhood…likely a result of the “guidance” of stubborn schoolteachers)

George H.W. Bush, 1989—1993

Bill Clinton, 1993—2001

And now, both Republican frontrunner, John McCain, and Democratic frontrunner, Barack Obama, are left-handed too.
