Sometimes weird viral marketing goes too far. In the urban landscape, it's hard to escape these disgusting new "Follow The Finger" posters, featuring a gross, stained finger. This is a campaign for Butterfinger, but eating a Butterfinger is not going make your finger look like that. Taking the time to follow the finger to its insipid flash-based website or hotline results only in further disappointment. It makes us long for the days of OK Soda's brilliant (and groundbreaking?) 800 number.
