While it's true that sledding might not typically be thought of as a world-changing endeavor, at least one company is trying to prepare us for the warm days ahead. The Slicer sled does not require a snowy slope to bring the enjoyment of downhill conveyance; instead, you fill a mold with water, put it in your freezer, affix the resulting ice blocks to the bottom of the sled and-Voilá!-the mountain comes to Mohammed. It's the perfect winter-nostalgia activity for a not-so-gradually warming planet.
