Bill Clinton is organizing a consortium of cities to attempt to combat global warming by cutting emissions, etc. So far, 22 cities have signed on, including New York, Los Angeles, and London. Some climate change scientists are skeptical about the actual impact that this will have. We know one thing: as a former President, Bill Clinton knows the federal government pretty well. So, his global warming initiative that involves only cities speaks volumes about his confidence that the U.S. is going to do something drastic any time soon.
