Taxing the rich
is a class warfare tacit that doesn't work. The wealthy citizens of the
United States aren't bounded by international borders. They have the
mobility to relocate to anywhere on the globe. When the government
raises taxes on 'the rich' the high income brackets simply relocate to
other lower taxed areas. In a global world it is in a country's benefit
to offer competitive tax structures that encourage the wealthy to live
in-country and spend there money at home. If you try to raise taxes on the rich, the rich will move. Leaving you with less in-country wealth. I don't recommend raising taxes on any income bracket.
