Hey all, I just wanted to share some information about myself for those that are interested.

I was born in 1978 (a product of the 70's) and raised in Southeast Michigan.  Live in Taylor with my mom, dad, and two older sisters while growing up.

They called my hometown "Taylortucky" because so many people moved to Michigan looking for jobs back in the 80s and settled in Taylor.  Now, due to the economy here in Michigan, everyone is moving south looking for jobs.  Strange how that worked out.  But I digress.

Most people don't know that I was home schooled, but I was.  When I tell people that they always jump to asking me if I felt that I missed out in high school and was I somehow emotionally scarred by not being properly socialized but I had plenty of friends and that really wasn't an issue.

After high school was over I tried my hand at college, but wasn't really at a point in my life where I could focus on the task at hand and my grades suffered.

After a few years I decided to put college on hold, and took on a few various jobs as I tried to figure out my life.

In 2001, one of my best friends from high school came back home on leave from the Marine Corps.  After hanging out for a while we thought that there might be more than just friendship between us and soon we were on the road to a very committed relationship.

Our wedding was on in November 2nd of 2002, so at the time I write this we've been married for almost 7 years!  That went by fast.

We lived in the Washington DC area for a while Brian finished out his tour in the Marine Corps, then we moved back here to Michigan.

Along the way we ended up having three beautiful children.  Two girls and a boy.  They were all born within 4 years of each other, so it's been a bit of a madhouse for the last few years.  People who have had children close together like this have told me that it gets a LOT easier when they are older.  I'm looking forward to that…lemme tell you!

The economy here in Michigan is pretty bad with the auto industry in the tank.  Brian worked in real estate full time until the bottom completely fell out of the industry.

We were looking for things to do as a home business that did not depend on the local economy.  Brian had some success selling an online video tutorial that showed people how to connect their Xbox to the internet without buying an xbox 360 wireless adapter so we thought maybe an online business would be good.

After a while we decided to go into sporting goods.  Brian said that a lot of people like to play airsoft (which is a lot like paintball, but without the paint) so he said we should start an online airsoft sniper rifle shop because tons of people like to crawl around and be sneaky snipers when they compete in tournaments and stuff.

I thought, "Why not?".  So now we have a small online retail business that helps keep the bills paid.  I was picked to process orders and manage customer services, as I'm a little better at that than Brian is.  In addition to finding new stuff for the shop Brian works 2 other jobs to help make ends meet.  Between these odd jobs, the airsoft shop, and the xbox 360 wireless adapter tutorial thing, we are making it alright.

All-in-all I hope that the economy improves soon.  The rest of the country started to feel it only at the end of 2007 and are already complaining like it's the worst thing ever to happen…even though they've only been experiencing it for a little more than a year.

Here in Michigan we've been in the thick of it since 2005.  That's like, half a decade!  I'm ready for sunshine and better times.

Anyway, that's the overview of me from birth till now.  I'll post more later.
