The Plague of Plastic Bags

I am so frustrated with what seems like it should be an easily solvable problem. But it is not… right? I mean, there doesn’t seem to be any great solutions addressing the issue. What can we do? I have ideas but have no idea if they are practical. I don’t want to cause more harm than good. Is there anyone else out there as concerned as I am. Does anyone know of anything being done, anything I can do to involve myself? I realize that there are more pressing issues now but why not address an issue before it becomes “more pressing?”
