Way back in the time of Issue 005, Parag Khanna wrote a great Provocation for us called "Peshawar Politics." More recently, he published this comprehensive piece in The New York Times, which we linked to here. Today, he sees the release of his book, The Second World: Empires and Influence in the New Global Order. You should consider picking it up, if you enjoy being really, really well versed in the nuances of the current economic and geopolitical landscapes, that is.
