We had an amazing party in San Francisco in honor of Bastille Day. You can see pictures of the insanity here.
GOOD also went carbon neutral. Just like Switzerland. But with carbon, instead of war.
The news this week focused mainly on the continuing repercussions of the revelation that a certain Alaskan Senator, who, despite chairing the committee that regulates the internet, seems to know nothing about it. The repercussions were far reaching.
In other government news, there were important votes on things like stem cells (to which the President said, "um, not so much"). Also, there was an important civil rights vote. 98 Senators took the time to say they supported voting rights for all Americans. But two senators just couldn't make the time.
To try to make sure that more Americans turn out on election day (which might prevent Senators like those gentlemen from being elected) someone is proposing paying people to vote.
You think McDonald's makes you fat? Try Starbucks.
You can also take your lawn with you, get sunburn tattoos, and steal gold from landfilled computers. In case you're interested in any of those things.
