In other news, it was a week of awards, the Nobel Prizes. the IgNobel prizes and the awards for biggest pervert in Congress (so far, that we know of). Guess which one got the most attention?
It was also National Banned Books week. How does America respond. By banning books about book burning. So... much... irony. As if that wasn't enough, people banned some other things, like trips to museums and sex toys that might remind people of sex. In other, only semi-unrelated news, Americans scored very poorly on some science quizzes administered by the Smithsonian.
Some visual learning: an animated map of Mid East history, a game about educational bureaucracy, and a fun way to make you jealous of your neighbors.
And, finally, Big Brother reads foreign newspapers the no-fly list isn't very functional and the Daily Show not just for jokes anymore.
