		<description>You are right about Inspectah Deck, he is great. Uncontrolled Substance is my favorite odf all time.  On a totally unrelated note, I found this Uighur kid in a bar near the lakes in Beijing who was playing fabulous Spanish stuff worthy of Paco de Lucia (sp?) who did not even read music but wanted to come to the States to study; it made me want to start a fund if we would let them in!!</description>

As a fellow hip-hop fan and sinophile, I found your article very interesting.  However, I think that much of China&#039;s hip-hop, and music from every other genre for that matter, is far too commercial, perhabs as a result of Western influences.  Besides the musical and lyrical qualities of great hip-hop artists like Wu-Tang, the subject matter of their song&#039;s reflect much of the social problems present in American (urban) life.  I wonder if perhaps in the near future mainland Chinese musicians like BlaKK Bubble will use their artform to spur social change.</description>
