This Old Blog-o-sphere

I do wonder to myself today, as I sign up to another design related – future visioned – collaborative blog, whether the entire “Blog-o-sphere” is run by a select few “leaders”, found within every specific genre.

As I search the thousands of design related blogs, I note how few articles and commentaries are voted-dugg-added to technorati-posted to del.icio.us-commented on-forwarded-referenced… and so on. How helpful my blogging is, continues to bewilder me, for it is seems that it is only a selected few contributors, writers, bloggers and cloggers whom seem to reappear across these networks. For me, I am proud of the research I do and feel ever inspired to have portals to share this work, knowledge and opinion but my thoughts today simply question what makes people comment, vote, digg posts found on the net.

Surely, we should be searching for new voices, as well as those we already know have the right ideas. Everyone has a part to play in every aspect of our future and it cannot only be my opinion that recognition through research is difficult.

Random thoughts.
