Trash-Powered Oven

In Nairobi, Kenya, the residents of one slum are starting to boil water and cook meals with an oven that burns trash. It helps mitigate the garbage problem while taking some pressure off the area’s dwindling forests. Nice idea. We’re right on track to develop Mr. Fusion by 2015.
