There's been some interesting news in wind turbines recently. No, really, there has. Apparently, they don't have to be huge ugly fans standing in the desert. They can be small and well-designed fans in an urban setting. Bet your britches, you'll be seeing more and more of these in the coming years, so get used to them. The Cool Hunter reports on a new wind-power project from England and Treehugger gets the info on a new design specifically for the crazy wind patterns of the urban landscape.
