Reminds me of the power of governmental spending. All the money we dumped into the Pentagon during the Cold War lead us to the establishment of the internet. Now, if only we could convince our leaders to spend more money promoting green alternatives everywhere and not just in remote desert bases smack dab in the middle of an illegal and distastrous war.
