I recently read a book by Mark Thomas called "As Used on the Famouse Nelson Mandela". It's all about his take on the arms industry and being an ex stand-up comedian, it makes for a very entertaining read.
One of the most intersting parts of the book is his telling of the story of the arms company he helped some British school kids set up. Just to show how easy it is to buy instruments of torture, he helped them import various nasty looking implements as part of a school projects.
Anyway, he spends a lot of time describing the evil behind BAE systems. This morning on the news, i saw a report about the decision to drop an investigation between BAE systems and the Saudi government.
