What is wrong with having open discussions about condom use? Almost everybody is going to say – Nothing!
But, let me tell you my side of the story coming from my own experience. I am an owner of a condom store www.CondomElite.com. Every time when somebody is asking me what am I doing for living and get the answer, the reaction is always the same – You are kidding! I kid you not! I started this business out of curiosity. Do people feel comfortable when purchasing the condoms from pharmacy? Are they asking questions? Do they get enough information about variety of pregnancy preventions methods available? Do they know how effective are they? What will better work for them? And the answer is NO.
We are bombarded all day long from different media sources with sex implying images. We are so used to it, that it became a part of our life. Yet, at the same time we are ashamed (!!!) to openly discuss issues related to sex. How many family lives could become much better quality if we as a nation promote sex education? Those are the questions what bother me.
