We were going to write something about the genius of Wierd Al months ago, but, frankly, it was too embarrassing. Luckily, if Slate writes about something, it must be cool, right? They have an exhaustive essay on the parody master. The money quote, from rapper Chamillionaire, whose song "Ridin'" was the inspiration for the simply brilliant "White And Nerdy":

"It's one thing to go platinum. Where do you go from there? Weird Al calls."
